Goal of course

The focus of the course is to provide the student with the foundations of spatial reasoning and how to analyze spatial data to solve real world problems. The student will be introduced to the different representations of space, how and when to use each of these representations, and how to effectively manipulate them. To implement these spatial concepts the students will do so with the leading GIS software package, ArcGIS. The student will have a sound foundation using the software on which they can build upon.
