Character Education- Luckiness

grades: k-6

Introduction - For March, I worked with my students on the topic of making and creating Luck

Objectives - Students will be able to identify how people make their own luck, and what luck is categorized as.  

Timeline - one hour

Learning Activities - students will discuss in the main room, via “chatting” concepts of luck.   Class will watch a video music story about a boy who has “luck.”  Teacher will present history of luck, as well as symbols of luck.  Elicit ideas for more examples from students.

Assessment -

Students will share how they will work on improving their own luck, as well as others’ luck around them.
