This will be of great benefits for those that want to keep their skin healthy and looking young...

Before I start mentioning which essential oils are good for the skin and what they do I would like to inform my readers that essential oils must be Therapeutic Grade. Oils that are not therapeutic grade are not advisable they have solvents and many of them are synthetic made from hydrocarbons (petroleum) and might cause allergic reactions such as contact dermatitis.

Essential oils prices vary from $5 to $100 (a bottle of 12 ml or .4 oz) and are extracted using diverse methods such as: cold press, CO2, distillation, enfleurage and a few others.

Some essential oils can be ingested while others are not recommended for a list of essential oils that can be ingested please visit the FDA webpage, it is long and you have to go through a lot of reading but if you are looking for a particular one you can do a search by pressing control+F.

Below I reproduce a list with some essential oils that have cosmetic applications.

Remember to use the appropriate ratio some oils like peppermint can only be used in 1% per ounce of carrier oil ratio. You can use 1%, 2%, 3% up to 10% according to other sources... I use 1 to 3% and obtain great results. Remember that what will make the trick is the carrier oil, depending on the needs that’s the carrier oil to use. You can use more than one carrier oil. The amount of carrier oil or which are going to be used is subject to the main purpose of the blend. If you want to rejuvenate the skin, clear up blemishes, tone, control oil, target skin problems like eczema or psoriasis then you have to take under consideration that and pick the carrier oil(s) that best suit the situation.

If you want a customized blend for your skin health just contact me and inform me of what you are looking for and for what you want the blend for.
