- Let each child taste a few granules of each and discover the answer for himself or herself.
- Explain sweet, salty, and sour.
- Have the children tell of the things they like to taste.
- Have them name things they do not taste good.
- Pass out Activity Page 40.
- Point at each picture, ask the children if they have ever eaten the food in the illustrations.
- Have the children glue a smiley face in the food they like best. Why?
