Build Your Own Unique Business

The world is full of business opportunities for young, enterprising, people like yourselves. Everyday millions of people make their living by working for themselves. Your assignment is to develop a business plan for your own small business.

        Step 1: Identify your interests. What can you see yourself doing everyday for five years or more? Do have any hobbies that could turn into a job?

        Step 2: Identify a purpose for your business. Will you sell a product or offer a service or both? Is there a market demand for what you can offer?

        Step 3: What will it cost to start your business? Do you need employees? Are there any special laws regulating the type of business you’re going to start?

        Step 4: If your business becomes popular will you be able to scale it to meet demand?

        Step 5: Present a plan to a venture capitalist to invest in your business.
