  1.  Review numbers 0-10
  2. Have the children hold their arms out to form a plus sign.
  3. Read the story of Cinderella.
  4. Write the plus sign in the board and explain that it shows us when to add.
  5. The teacher will say a story problem about”Cinderella”
  6. Have the children pick out the numbers from from the problem.
  7. Have the children write it on the board.
  8. Repeat the story problem to reflect the addition facts with sums up to 6.

  2. Who would you solve the addition problem?
  3. Who would create their own story problem?
