Reading Scores for the 8th grade

West Virginia 8th grade reading have stayed at the same average from 2005-2009. The National 8th grade average is increasing very slowly every two years. At this rate in a couple of years we  could catch up with the national average. We are doing a very good job teaching reading in West Virginia and I believe within the next couple of years we can catch up with the national average.
