Undergraduate students: Audition repertoire should include two selections of contrasting styles, taking care to demonstrate the applicant's strengths as both a technical and lyrical player. Major and harmonic minor scales should be prepared in all keys.  Sight reading will also be required.  Please contact Dr. Riner for any assistance in choosing literature.

Graduate students: Audition repertoire should display facility in various styles; please prepare selections from at least 2 of the following time periods to equal 20 minutes of music:

Baroque

Classical

Romantic

Modern or Avante-garde

Performance majors should also prepare 2-3 contrasting orchestral excerpts. Sight reading may be required.  Please contact Dr. Riner for any assistance in choosing literature.
