The Gravity Warrior is a master of mass manipulation, altering his own apparent mass to instill massive force behind his blows, capable of lifting extreme weights, levitating, and crushing foes with the force of gravity alone. His power comes not from puny gods or arcane blood, but indomitable willpower and focused channelling of his physical strength.
ALTERNATE MONK BASE CLASS
Alignment: The Gravity Warrior is not specifically restricted in alignment, those of good and evil intent are just as likely to pursue the path of gravity manipulation. Though they tend more toward lawful as this path requires such dedication and focus, chaotic gravity warriors do exist and can be a force to be reckoned with.

Gravity Hammer (Ex)
At 1st Level the Gravity Warrior gains the ability to shake the earth and topple surrounding foes, as a full round action that does not provoke an attack of opportunity, he may punch, kick, or strike the ground with a melee weapon, shaking the earth in a 10’ radius; dealing unarmed strike damage to all foes in said radius and knocking them prone. A successful Fortitude save negates them falling prone and halves damage taken (DC=10+1/2 Gravity Warrior Level+Strength Modifier). Using this ability uses 1 Perseverance Point.
At 8th Level the radius of this effect increases to 20’.
At 16th Level the radius of this effect increases to 30’.
Special: A Gravity Warrior may use Stunning Fist through his Gravity Hammer by expending 2 of his daily uses of Stunning Fist.
The Vital Strike feat chain may be applied to Gravity Hammer to increase the damage dealt.
Perseverance
The rigours of working with gravity make the Gravity Warrior very physically and mentally tough. The mechanical representation of this mental and physical durability is Perseverance. At the start of each day, a Gravity Warrior gains a number of perseverance points equal to his Wisdom modifier (minimum 1). His perseverance goes up or down throughout the day, but usually cannot go higher than his Wisdom modifier (minimum 1), though some feats and magic items may affect this maximum. A Gravity Warrior spends perseverance to activate some gravitational abilities, and regains perseverance in the following ways.
Critical Hit with a Melee Weapon or Unarmed Strike: Each time the Gravity Warrior confirms a critical hit with a melee weapon or unarmed strike attack while in the heat of combat, he regains 1 perseverance point. Confirming a critical hit on a helpless or unaware creature or on a creature that has fewer Hit Dice than half the Gravity Warrior’s character level does not restore perseverance.
Killing Blow with a Melee Weapon or Unarmed Strike: When the Gravity Warrior reduces a creature to 0 or fewer hit points with a melee weapon or unarmed attack while in the heat of combat, he regains 1 perseverance point. Destroying an unattended object, reducing a helpless or unaware creature to 0 or fewer hit points, or reducing a creature that has fewer Hit Dice than half the Gravity Warrior’s character level to 0 or fewer hit points does not restore any perseverance.
Stunning Fist (Ex)
This class feature is identical to the Monk class feature of the same name.
Unarmed Strike
This class feature is identical to the Monk class feature of the same name.
Bonus Feat
At 2nd level, and every 4 levels thereafter, the Gravity Warrior may select a bonus feat from the following list:
Improved Grapple, Throw Anything, Power Attack, Scorpion Style, Catch Off-Guard, Crushing Blow
At 6th level, the following feats are added to the list:
Gorgon’s Fist, Improved Bull Rush, Improved Disarm, Improved Trip, Mobility, and Vital Strike
At 10th level, the following feats are added to the list:
Improved Critical, Medusa’s Wrath, Improved Vital Strike, Spring Attack
At 14th level, Greater Vital Strike is added to the list.
The Gravity Warrior need not meet the prerequisites of any feat selected with this class feature.
Pseudo-Strength
At 2nd level and every 2 levels thereafter, the Gravity Warrior gains a +2 bonus to his Strength Score when determining Carrying Capacity, Strength Checks, Strength-Based skills, and CMB/CMD when initiating or resisting Bull-Rush, Grapple, Trip, or Drag maneuvers.
Density Manipulation
Beginning at 3rd level, a Gravity Warrior learns to focus his power to protect his vulnerable areas, increasing the density of crucial armour pieces to protect from critical hits.
At 3rd level this makes all equipped armour function as though enchanted with Light Fortification.
At 8th level this protection increases to Moderate Fortification.
At 13th level this protection increases to Heavy Fortification.
This ability does not stack with magic armour abilities of the same name.
Endurance
At 3rd level, the Gravity Warrior gains Endurance as a bonus feat.
Fast Movement
As a function of his gravity manipulation, the Gravity Warrior gains an enchantment bonus to his movement speed of 10 feet at 3rd level. This ability does not apply if the Gravity Warrior is wearing heavy armour or carrying a heavy load.
High-Gravity Zone (Su)
Starting at 4th level, the Gravity Warrior may designate up to 8 contiguous squares within 100ft as difficult terrain through gravity amplification. This effect takes a move action to activate and lasts for 1 minute. He may use this effect 3+Wis mod times per day. Only one usage of High-Gravity Zone may be in effect at a time, further castings dispel any remaining effects.
Impact
The Gravity Warrior gains aptitude in increasing the weight of his weapons, but loosening their connection to conventional gravity, allowing him to swing with ease despite apparent massive weight.
At 5th level, the Gravity Warrior begins treating all weapons as though they are one size category larger when dealing damage. This effect applies to his unarmed strikes as well as manufactured weapons, but it does not allow him to wield weapons of a larger size.
Gravity Well (Su)
At 5th level a gravity warrior learns to manipulate the weight of something from a distance. A gravity warrior gains the ability to focus on one target within a certain distance of himself as a standard action. This target must pass a Will save (DC 10 + 1/2 the gravity warrior's level + the gravity warrior's wisdom modifier) or immediately fall prone. This ability can be used on airborne targets and unattended objects as well. If this effect is used on an airborne target, then it falls to the ground and as such takes appropriate falling damage if it fails a Fly check with DC equal to the previous Will save to glide gently to the ground. If this class feature is used on an unattended object, then that objects weight grows nearly infinite for one minute, and cannot be lifted by any force. Gravity Well has a range of 25 ft +5 ft/level and may be used 3 times per day and additional times for one perseverance point per extra use. At 12th level a failed save against this effect renders the target exhausted. At 18th level even a successful save renders the target exhausted as the strain of defying a gravity warrior's will taxes their body.
Pulverizing Blow
At 7th level, the Gravity Warrior gains Power Attack as a bonus feat, if he already has Power Attack, he may instead select any combat feat for which he qualifies. When using Power Attack, he may forgo it’s usual damage benefit to instead ignore points of damage reduction equal to 4/- times the penalty to his attack roll.
Levitation (Su)
At 7th level, the Gravity Warrior begins to master his manipulation of gravity and may use Levitate as a spell-like ability, using his class level as the caster level for this effect, at will.
Nexus of Attraction
At 9th level by expending a Perseverance point as a move action, the Gravity Warrior may designate one foe as the centre of his personal gravitational universe. In effect, he makes the victims vital organs focal points of gravity. Attacks made by the gravity warrior or his allies against the designated foe gain a +5 circumstance bonus to confirm critical hits, and in addition any critical hit scored increases it’s critical multiplier by one (2x becomes 3x, 3x becomes 4x, etc). This effect lasts 24 hours or until the foe is slain.
Flight (Su)
At 12th level, a gravity warrior gains a supernatural ability to fly at his base land speed with good maneuverability.
Reverse Gravity (SLA)
As the spell, the quintessential ability of a powerful Gravity Warrior. At 17th level this may be used 3 times per day.
Special: From level 17 onward the gravity warrior is immune to the effects of Reverse Gravity if he wishes to be, even those originating from other casters or gravity warriors. This immunity may be lowered if he wishes as a free action during his turn.
Empty Body (Su)
At 19th level, a Gravity Warrior’s mastery of gravity knows almost no bounds, he has gained concise enough control of gravity to completely remove mass from his molecules, in his massless form his is effectively removed from the material realm, doesn’t interact with light, and may pass through otherwise solid barriers. This effect manifests as an ability to use the spell Etherealness for 1 minute as a move action that consumes 3 Perseverance points. This ability only effects the Gravity Warrior and cannot be used to make other creatures ethereal.
