Camp Nabe is a bereavement program designed specifically to meet the unique needs of children who have suffered the loss of a loved one. The camp is open to any child, not just those families served by hospice.
Camp Nabe teaches children techniques on how to cope with the loss of their loved one. The program offers a safe and accepting environment for children and includes a mix of age-appropriate therapeutic sessions along with social activities. Camp Nabe is a community program and is offered at no cost to the children or their families.
Camp Nabe 2017 is complete, however, our bereavement counselors are always available to meet with children one-on-one or in a small group setting. If you know a child who would benefit from our services, would like to attend Camp Nabe, or if you would like to volunteer, please contact Community Hospice at 606-329-1890 or 800-926-6184.
