Rezzer Guide: Boathouse & Dock Package

Setup
Before beginning, if this Rezzer was purchased from an online marketplace or inworld vendor and is boxed, rez the box and the contents should be automatically given to you.
- From the folder package, rez the Boathouse/Dock out. Item will wait for setup.
- Move the Boathouse/Dock to the desired location for future boat rezzes.
- Touch the Boathouse/Dock and select Setupfrom the menu.
- Setup complete, touching the Boathouse/Dock will show the Owner Menu for further configuration.
Owner Menu
When the owner touches the Rezzer a menu will appear in the top right of the screen for all Rezzer controls. First menu shows different aspects of the Rezzer:
Basic
- Touch Rez/Scan Rez - Toggle switch, Scan Rez will keep a boat rezzed out for use at all times. Touch Rez will not and people have to touch the Rezzer for a boat to appear.
- Security - Changes the boat’s security setting. This only applies to the driver.
- Reset - Resets the Rezzer. Can keep current settings or start clean and setup.
- Update - Checks to see if there is an update available.
- Help - Opens this guide.
- Advanced - Changes to Advanced menu mode, options below.
Advanced
Boat:--
- Security - Changes the boats security setting. Choices are Owner only, Group, or Everyone. Once changed the rezzed boat will derez if nearby.
- Rez Boat - Owner can rez a boat no matter what settings are used and if another boat is nearby.
- Temp/Delayed - Toggle switch. Temp will use sim Temporary setting to derezz, Delayed will use a script timer for derezzing.
- Derez Timer - Changes the default 5 minute derez timer to a choice set in the menu.
- Flip Boat - (Only available with Rowboat models) Flips the boat's rez position 180° to face the other way.
- Linden/Prim Water - Switches the boat to use either position tool height (Prim Water) or sim water height (Linden Water).
Rezzer:--
- Timer - Changes the Scan Rez timer. Increasing means longer delays for when the next boat rezzes, but also may help with lag.
- Touch Rez/Scan Rez - Toggle switch, Scan Rez will keep a boat rezzed out for use at all times. Touch Rez will not and people have to touch the Rezzer for a boat to appear.
- Disable/Enable - Toggles whether the Rezzer is working or not.
- Security - Changes the Rezzers security setting. This will allow other people to change Rezzer/Boat settings.
- Basic - Changes to Basic menu mode, options above.
- Set Position - After moving the boathouse, select this option to load the new position to rez boats.
Mainenance:--
- Update - Checks to see if there is an update available.
- Sys Check - System check that scans for issues that might be causing problems in the Rezzer and the sim itself.
- Reset - Resets the Rezzer. Can keep current settings or start clean and setup.
- Backup - Creates a Backup Code in chat to be copied. This code will allow the Rezzer to resume with current settings if it needs to be re-rezzed or setup again.
Web:--
- Status - Loads a web page that shows the status of all Rezzer settings and the number of times it's rezzed a boat. The web page is hosted by the Rezzer itself.
- Count - Resets the Rezzer's count for the number of times it's rezzed a boat.
- News - Latest news from Tuff Old Boats. New boats, update news, and general what's happening.

Security
The rowboat has 4 different security options to pick from, selected from the Boat sub-menu on the Rezzer.
- Owner - Only the owner can sit in the driver's seat, other people will be kicked off. Anyone can still use one of the passenger seats.
- Group - Anyone using the same active group tag as the one the Rezzer was rezzed using can drive the boat.
- Whitelist - Inside the Rezzer there is a notecard called Whitelist - Boat. Names of people can be added to the notecard to give them permission to drive the boat. There is a limit of names that can be included.
- Everyone - This is the boats default setting. Anyone can drive the boat.
The Rezzer has it's own security too, selected from the Rezzer sub-menu on the Rezzer. This will allow others access to the Owner Menu, although some features are blocked.

Status Web Page
This is one of our latest feature for Rezzers. Can be found in the Web menu after touching the Rezzer and selecting "Status". From there SL will ask to load a page in an external browser installed on the computer.
The Status Page shows all Rezzer settings, including all the names used in the Rezzer whitelist security. A handy feature also included on the page is a counter of the number of times the Rezzer has rezzed a boat. The counter can be reset by the Web menu.
The web address for the Rezzer directly points the web broswer to the Rezzer in SL, no external links or data from unsafe sources. Due to the nature of HTTP-IN in SL, the web address resets and changes when:
- The Rezzer resets.
- The sim the Rezzer is in crashes or restarts.
- The Rezzer is moved over a sim border.
When used with the built in Static Addressing system, when the Rezzer address changes the address is updated pointing to the currect location.
HUD
The TUFF Old Boats HUD is an extra for all our boats. The HUD isn't required for operations, but is an extra control interface if prefered by the user/driver rather than keyboard or menu controls.
The HUD is available on request if not included within the package, IM Jarnz or Rya.
Errors
The Rezzer can detect a lot of errors before they become an issue, such as missing inventory, boat name changes, incomplete rezzes and the such. When an error happens information is given to the owner only over the owner chat channel. Being on the owner channel the owner has to be online to see the errors happening, but if errors like so many bad rezzes in a row happen the Rezzer disables itself and sends the owner an IM about the problem and location of the Rezzer. If a Rezzer disables itself, it can be re-enabled without resetting via the owner menu under Rezzer.
