hes walking in the bronx near the projects  broken down apartments and filthy streets he says “i mean hip hop dance really came because we didn't have nothing in the south bronx because there was really nothing to do here”

i feel this is important because its true people back the the 70s was going through the great depression it was hard times for the people of the five boroughs but the bronx had it rough because of the black out so they had no choice but to make something out of doing nothing and do something which is make music

theres a man sitting on the stoop of a house looks like hes in harlem likes like a brown stone and he says “i was a guy that never went downtown i stayed in the neighborhood and formed a culture called hip hop” while there a man driving a car with big speakers in the back of his car driving around the neighborhood because back then there wasn't speakers built inside their cars

i feel tho this is interesting because i never knew that the person that made hip hop never traveled to downtown he stood and his own neighborhood and created his own music where he lives in the bronx and also i never knew that they was put big part speakers in the back of their cars and ride around their block blasting loud hip hop music this is interesting because it lets me know how much people loved music and will create anything from this music to be heard

hes in the streets of the bronx standing on the sidewalk talking about the first dj to introduce the neighborhood to hip hop music and dance and his name was dj herc he says “well he basically dj kool herc was the guy who got two turntables and a system came out in a big park and her rocked the park we heard music we never heard before dance music”

this is important and interesting to me because this lets me know how dj kool herc made hip hop what it is now and also what did he do and i felt that this was cool because i didn't know that this all started with turntables and a system and this is cool because dj kool herc chose a place where most people be which is the park and i felt like this was sooo important and kind of answer my question

dj kool herc the man that was the first dj to drop music to the bronx hes sitting on the stoop and says “it wasn't called hip hop it was called the jam when i was doing it it was called the jam coming to the jam”

i think this is very important because this lets me know that hip hop wasn't what they use to call it was the jam and this is helpful because this lets me know the background on how hip hop was started and what came before that this is very helpful to me and important

theres a man in the streets of the bronx and behind him is projects and a park and he says “ the south bronx the hip hop culture started in the bronx projects and the djs would plug there sound systems in the streets lamps and jam away in the streets and parks”

i feel tho this is important because this lets me know how it all beginning how did locking and breakdance on cardboard started and this is soo helpful also because it lets me know how it was done and what the dj s on block use to do to show off their moves and skills and i also feel tho that was a great place to set the systems up because most people be in the park with children family  and friends

it was a black and hispanic thing

this is a helpful way for me to understand because it tells me what culture was the creation of the hip hop culture and i feel tho it was the culture that was less fortunate which was the black and hispanic culture because back in the 70 there was the great depression in the bronx and that really messed up the economy so i feel that the black and hispanic really had nothing to do but have talent and show off their talent which was dance and graffiti

theres a man named africka bambaataa that was in the form of the hip hop culture hes standing in the back of his creation of hip hop called zulu nation that was spray painted on the wall he says “hip hop started in the south bronx and we was throwing parties in different clubs schools community centers and from there on it became a big movement

this is interesting because this was something that i didn't know and also this is something that we do in todays world we still throw parties in community centres clubs and schools to show off their talent so this was great to know because this is why we do it in todays  because of the fact that back in the 70s they started a big movement which migrated all over the world

africka bambaataa standing in the back of his creation of hip hop zulu nation says “we played heavy metal the funk reggae soca african jazz anything that had an funky heat we use to manipulate it on the turntables back and forth and make different sounds

this is important because it just wasn't hip hop music it was all types of music that they would play in the parks and clubs that would i think make these dances and dance moves diverse

this is helpful to me because this tells me how the word bboy came from and thats cool how by the break the the dj was doing the made that into the word bboy break boy i feel this is very important to hip hop culture
