Spirit Fitness, based in Jonesboro, Arkansas, is a well-respected manufacturer/distributor of home and light commercial fitness equipment. Spirit Fitness has been in business for close to 30 years and markets products under Spirit Fitness, Esprit Fitness and Xterra Fitness to specialty retailers around the world. Dyaco Inc, is the parent company of Spirit Fitness and is the largest fitness equipment manufacturer in Taiwan.

Spirit Fitness employs 55 people and currently operates out of a building on Commerce Drive, in the Jonesboro Industrial Park. On November 9, 2011, the company broke ground on a new building that will be located at the corner of Post Road and Nestle Way in the Craighead Technology Park. Spirit plans on constructing a 116,000 sq. ft. building, which will consist of 10,000 sq. ft. of office space and 106,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space. The project is scheduled for completion in July of 2012.

“Our employees and the Jonesboro community have been an integral part of building the Spirit Fitness brand in the US and globally. That is why I am so pleased to be breaking ground and building our headquarters in Jonesboro” says Chris Cox, President of Spirit Fitness. “Our new facility is being built on 15 acres that we purchased earlier this year, with the building being designed for future expansion”. “Even in these tough economic times, we are continuing to see growth in our brands”, says Cox.
