4. Pre-License Change-Over Issues

  • Are there any other IP issues other then identified below.

  • Copy-and-paste editing reported before 31st July (OPEN)

Some have been removed by the contributors concerned and a removal script  for the rest is running now, but slowly. We will await confirmation of completion.

  • New UMP blacklist items (OPEN)

Our thanks to Andrzej Zaborowski (Balrogg) for generating some extra blacklist change sets that cover imports by one specific OSM contributor.  These need applying.

  • Possible technical issue in UMP data redaction (OK, CLOSED)

Analysis of post-redaction Polish data appeared to indicate that some ways had survived the redaction despite being in black-list changesets. Mike has investigated and found that in addition to the whitelist of changesets, there is an additional one of individual ways and their nodes:

He then spot checked specific instances in changesets reported by UMP members and found all surviving ways to be in explicitly in edits_whitelist.txt.  There therefore appears to be no issue with the technical process. Any remaining issue would be whether the whitelist is correct and can be considered as part of the item above.

Conclusion: Once these two items are reported as resolved, the LWG will send formal recommendation to the Board that the license change-over can occur.
