For the section Oak Ridge - Camp Bay the construction and improvement to 2 lanes has been contemplated.

TUR201: Garífuna Center “Satuye”, José Santos Guardiola, Bay Islands

Description: The project consists of the construction of the Garifuna Identity House. It includes facilities to provide service to 16 people simultaneously. In addition, it has traditional crafts workshops which work with wood as raw material, in order to manufacture traditional crafts of the Garifuna Culture, such as drums, masks, maracas, etc. Also, the construction of 3 palm shelters has been planned to exhibit and sell the crafts manufactured in the workshop, and for the Garifuna Dance Show when requested. The project is located in one of the communities with more cultural tradition, as is Punta Gorda, in the municipality of José Santos Guardiola. It was in this place where the first afro-descendant migrants arrived, among which emerged one of its greatest exponents "Satuye".

Description: The increasing demand of cruise liner passengers in the Island of Roatán, the construction and operations of a certified hospital will make it possible for cruise lines to have the medical services required for the safety of their passengers. The Hospital will be in charge of providing health services for the passengers that require them, and will also be of great benefit for the country through the control records of the origin of the visitors, list of the most common diseases by country, thus allowing to have a program that will make it possible to respond to any emergency that might arise while these cruise ships are visiting our country. The hospital services will have the necessary technology and innovation to offer services to the other destinations of the region that also host this cruise segment. The hospital will be located at least five minutes from the docks and existing cruisers.

Description: The main idea of this project is to build a chain of hotel schools that will be used as training centers and expand the supply of lodging, with 30 rooms in each hotel, in the tourist priority zones. 3 school hotels will be developed in the municipalities of: Roatán, Tela y Santa Rosa de Copán, which will have the necessary facilities to train professionals that will specialize in the areas of food and beverage, lodging and waiters. This project will allow maximizing the training of human resources that will acquire the theoretical knowledge and will later put into practice in appropriate facilities, and under the supervision of qualified personnel.

Description: The project consists of creating a transportation company (a ferry) that will operate the interconnection lines between the islands of Utila, Guanaja, Roatán, and Cayos Cochinos.  It consists of installing concrete steering docks.   One will be installed in the Bay Island zone and another one in la Ceiba. Besides each dock a small passenger terminal will be built which will be used as a center for ticket sales, waiting lounge and arrival and departure area for passengers and their respective luggage. The Bay Islands is one of the tourism destinations with a high flow of people demanding this type of services that provides this means of transportation.

Descripción: Oyster Bed Lagoon se encuentra en la paradisíaca isla de Utila, ubicada aproximadamente a 20 kilómetros de La Ceiba en la costa norte de Honduras al oeste de Roatán. El mercado del turismo en la Isla de Utila ha experimentado un crecimiento rápido en los últimos años, convirtiéndose en uno de los destinos favoritos para la certificación de buceo del Caribe. Los hoteles que se han construido no satisfacen la demanda del mercado, por lo que Utila Oyster Bed Lagoon Resort, surge como la primera alternativa de desarrollo de uso mixto planificado  de primera clase que incorpora un componente de hotel con oferta de alojamiento de villas residenciales capaces de ofrecer  hospedaje al nivel de los estándares internacionales de calidad.
