  2. Tell the children that we are going to have a song fest.
  3. Have  volunteers sing their favorite with a microphone.
  4.  Show the children Activity Page 55.
  5. Have the children look at the pictures on this page.

  1. Ask the children: Who gave us our feet? Why God gave us our feet? What else can you do with your feet? What are some of you favorite steps? (demonstrate)
  2. Tell the children that dancing is a gift of God.
  3. Tape streamers to a popsicle stick to make to create  dancing streamers.
  4. Have the children pretend to put on their dancing shoes.
  5. Play music and have the children dance, using using their their dance sticks.
  6. Distribute Activity Page 56 and crayons.
  7. Lead the children in the prayer found at the bottom of Activity Page 56.

What is your favorite song in prek? 

  1. Review the lessons on singing and dancing.
  2. Play happy music and ask the children how they feel as they listen to the music.
  3. Play sad music and ask and ask whether they feel different as they listen to the music.
  4.  Encourage the children to note the differences in the music being played.
  5. Distribute Activity Page 57.
  6. Teach the song in Activity Page 57.
  7. Ask: What is your favorite song in preschool? Show how you like to move when are dancing? How do you feel when you sing and dance to that song?
