Entries will open on 1st November 2011, the attached entry form must be completed and returned to the Event Secretary at 26 Aughton Street, Bayswater WA 6053 by close of business on 18th November 2011. Entries will be accepted in order of receipt
Entry cost is $55 for TECCWA members, $65 for non-members for nominated session. Indicate desired session on your Entry Form.
The event is open to all persons holding the appropriate competition AASA Club Racing Licence or higher or equivalent licence which must be presented at documentation / Check in on the day. AASA Club Licences may be purchased for $50.00 on the day of the event.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse any entry or, if deemed appropriate, the Clerk of Course may withdraw any entry on the grounds of safety, misconduct or inappropriate behaviour.
a. Juniors 12 – 14 years of age will participate in tests as a group, and will not be included in the Senior class competitive tests.
b. All junior competitors must be a minimum of 12 years of age and must not require the use of any additional support to fit in to seatbelts or see over the dash board and have full vision of the road.
c. All junior Competitors 12 – 18 must have a licensed adult competitor in the vehicle at all times during the competition.
d. All junior Competitors 15 – 18 years of age can compete in the Senior Class competitive tests and must have completed at least one Motorkhana competently or have a licensed adult competitor in the vehicle until they are deemed competent.
e. All under 18 year old participants must sign an indemnity on the day and must have approval from their parent or guardian. If the parent or guardian is not present at the event, a letter giving permission to participate must be received.
All junior competitors and senior passengers must abide by the requirements in these Supplementary Regulations, including clothing and helmet
Competitors 12 – 18 years of age must have completed at least one Motorkhana competently or have a licensed adult competitor in the vehicle until they are deemed competent.
Entries from competitors under 18 years of age must be countersigned / consented to by a parent or guardian.
7.1 The organisers may cancel, alter, abandon or postpone the event without assigning a reason.
7.2 Protests, if any, will be processed as per the dispute regulations of the TECCWA car club..
7.3 Alcohol - The consumption of alcohol by drivers is forbidden in accordance with NCR and the AASA Anti Doping Policy. Consumption of alcohol in non-public areas is forbidden. We enforce a zero blood alcohol limit and Random Breath Testing may occur at any time on the day. Any Driver found over the zero limit will be asked to leave.
8.1 There will be no classes for this event.
9.1 Hitting a cone will incur a 5 second penalty for each cone hit.
9.2 Failure to correctly navigate the course will be deemed a Wrong Way, and you will be given the average time for the course, plus 15 seconds.
9.3 Any need to reverse while navigating the course will be deemed a Wrong Way.
10.1 Timings will be recorded for participants, including the application for any penalties incurred.
10.2 No modifiers based on vehicle specifications will be applied for this event.
10.3 Calculation of handicaps and establishing classes for the future Motorkhana series planned may be based on these results.
11.1 Soft drinks, water and a BBQ will be available for sale at the venue. Toilet facilities also available.
12.1 Insurance cover is provided by AASA, and in accordance with the Entry Form Declarations.
Any breach of these regulations will dealt with at the discretion of the Clerk of Course
