  4. The teacher will distribute a place mats with outlines of spoon, fork, knife,cup, and plate to all the children.
  5. Have the children place a spoon, fork, knife, cup, and plate on the outline.
  6. Have the children tell where the objects are placed using positional words.
  7. The teacher will explain that this will help them “set the table” at home and help their family.
  8. Ask: What objects did you use to set the table? how does setting the table helps your family? What other things would you like to learn to do in the house to help your family?
