Homework for Term 2, Week 2
Maths - Basic Facts
Go to Math Magician on the school website. You will find it on the website links page under ‘Maths’. Spend 30 minutes this week on the site daily working on an area that you need to improve in.
Choose a level and an operation that challenges you, rather than one that you can do easily. Getting better is all about pushing yourself to do things that are a little harder than you are comfortable with.
Reading
Read for 20 minutes each day, from Monday to Thursday (you can read for more, and read in the weekends too!)
Writing
Leave a comment on the class blog. Make your comment at least 50 words. ( If you don’t have a computer at home, you can use on of the class computers before school). Your comment needs to be about all of the things that are mentioned on the class blog.
ICT
Spend 30 minutes this week on Dance Mat typing. ( If you don’t have a computer at home, you can use on of the class computers before school)
French
Visit the class blog and go to our ‘Let’s Learn French’ blog. Watch the weekly post that is put up and leave a comment (if you haven’t already done so). If you don’t have a computer at home, you can use on of the class computers before school.
As we spent this week revising the topics covered in Term 1, the post about the family will stay up as the newest one for a further week.
Te Reo Maori
Visit the class blog and go to our ‘Let’s Learn Te Reo Maori’ blog. Check out the new weekly post that is put up and leave a comment. You can also go through the previous posts to revise on older lessons. ( If you don’t have a computer at home, you can use on of the class computers before school).
This week the post is on asking one person ‘How are you?’
