Professional Resource Manual

You will need to start collecting information for your Resource Manual.  A resource manual is designed to be a tool to help you with information when you start working with young children.  This information needs to be in a binder organized in page protectors. Each assignment must be in one page protectors. You could choose to use dividers or not, but it must go in order.

Each section is 25 points. Work not already turned in for credit will be worth more points.

Here is a list of what will be in it.

  1. Cover – Your name, Class title, term, something that represents you and/or the class
  2. Letter of Introduction - Don’t do till last.

Child Development - 4

  4. The 6 Principles of Child Development and Theory Activity with Children - or - Type up a list of the major contributing theorists and explain them.

Observing  - 5

  2. Type up a list of the types of observations and explain for each how/why you may use them in a classroom setting.

Relationship & Guidance -6
