Adding an Audio File within a course

Audio files can be added to any content area in your course.  Audio files come in a variety of formats and will play in a player based on the user's computer system. You may upload files with the following extensions: .aiff, .asf, .au, .mpe, .mp3, .ra, .ram, .rm, .wav, .wma.

To add an audio file within your course:

  1. Access the content area where you want the file to appear.

  1. Hover over Build Content.

  1. Choose Create > Audio.

Upload an audio file from your computer

  1. Click Browse My Computer.

  1. Navigate to your audio file on your local computer.

  1. Enter file options including Name, Color, Audio Options, and Standard Options.

  1. Click Submit.

Upload an audio file from your Content Collection

  1. Click Browse Content Collection.



  1. Locate audio file within Content Collection pop-up window.

  1. Click the Radio Button next to the audio file.

  1. Click Submit.


  1. Enter file options including Name, Color, Audio Options, and Standard Options.

  1. Click Submit.
