Collection description: The POSNA collection is a record of the formation of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America and its predecessor groups, the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society and the Pediatric Orthopaedic Study Group. Records concerning annual meetings, specialty days, bulletins, and published articles make up a large percentage of the collection. Additionally, the collection documents the achievements, innovations and contributions of many of its prominent members.
Scope: The POSNA collection is a record of the formation of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America and its predecessor groups (the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society and the Pediatric Orthopaedic Study Group). It houses records concerning annual meetings, annual exhibits, specialty days, bulletins and published articles which make up a large percentage of the collection. The collection also documents the achievements, innovations and contributions of many of its prominent members.
Arrangement: As it is anticipated that the collection will be added to frequently, the arrangement is based on each box and its contents rather than by subject matter.
