Unit One Assessment Options
This unit will be composed of four* sections. You have a variety of assessment options
I. Three quizzes (1.1-2, 1.3-4. 1.5).
II. A unit test: (You may take a 40 item multiple choice test or a 10 item short answer test).
III. A media presentation (see assignment calendar for due date) There are two choices.

Options
I. Traditional -- total points earned on three quizzes and unit test (0-80 points).
II. For an “A” (80 points) complete two of the following, satisfactorily:
*70% or higher on all 3 section quizzes
*90% or higher on unit test
*satisfactory completion of a media project
III. For an “B” (68 points) complete two of the following, satisfactorily:
*70% or higher on at least 3 section quizzes
*85% or higher on unit test
*satisfactory completion of a media project
Notes
Taking all three quizzes is required
Completing either the test or project is required. (Both may be completed, but not for extra credit.
For performance below “B” standards, grades will be no lower than average of quizzes and test.
