Ingredients:

4 nice slices of Chicken Fried Steak

2 onions, sliced very thin

¼ c flour

oil for deep frying

4 seeded Hoagie buns

lettuce, shredded

tomato, diced

Twisted Chili Sauce, below

Make the Chicken Fried Steak seitan deep frying it, not pan frying. You will need the deep frying for the onions as well.

Toss the onion slices with the flour and deep fry until the onions are crisp, but be careful not to burn them. Drain well.

Toast the split Hoagie roll. Put the seitan on one side, top with the crispy onions, add shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes and drizzle with the Twisted Chili Sauce.

Repeat to make all the sandwiches.

Twisted Chili Sauce

½ c veganaise

1 t chili powder

¼ t salt
