Children will learn how each person is unique and important.

-  Direct Observation of  “I Am Special” Book.

-  Observe if children can identify one attribute that makes him/her special and unique and at least one thing he/she does well.

- Read Aloud “I am Different”

- Identify what makes people different and unique.

- Sing a song.

- Tell the children they are going to pretend the teachers are reporters and they will interview them to find the things that make them unique.

- Create their own “I Am Special” Book.

-  What makes you different from others?

-  What questions would you ask if you were the reporter?

-  What would happen if all people were the same?
