Environmental Science Symposium, Call for Abstracts
Is your work relevant to the environmental sciences? Present a poster!
On Saturday January 21st 2012, the 18th Annual Environmental Sciences Symposium (ESS) will take place at the University of Guelph. This year’s theme of “Environmental Outlook on Agriculture: A Public Perspective” will allow students and the general public to bridge the gap between theoretical based knowledge and real world application by engaging experts from academia and industry through lecture, workshops and conversation. We are looking for graduate students from all disciplines, that are conducting research related to agriculture to present their posters on the day of the event. If you are interested, please submit your abstract to envsymp@uoguelph.ca no later than December 16, 2011. - Aura Patchett (apatchet@uoguelph.ca)

Question: End-of-term Progress Reports
Your GSA is wondering about your experience with end-of-term progress reports. Have you been receiving them each term, or do they tend to fall by the wayside? Please let us know! The GSA wants to make sure your time is respected.
Women-only Athletic Centre Hour?
If you’re a woman, would you be interested in a woman’s only hour or section at the AC? The AC is considering such and is wondering how much interest there is. If you’re interested, please contact Dan Columbus, GSA VP Internal, gsavpint@uoguelph.ca.
