Citations for MOVE project:
A Brief History of MOVE. Keith Parkins. April 2000. Web. Nov. 12, 2010.
This site is about MOVE and the main points that it did. I would rate it as a bit trustworthy since I've seen the same information in several other sites and so I know the info isn't false. But it also gives little information about an author or an organization.
Allen, Tony. "The Children of the MOVE Cult." MOVE Watch. n. p, n. d. Web. Nov. 12, 2010.
This site told me several things about the cult and it went deep into details I had yet to hear about. I mostly hovered on the page that spoke about children and how they spend their lives in MOVE. After reading a little about the writer, I felt a bit more trustworthy of the site. It turns out the author was a part of MOVE and when they decided to leave, he and his wife made a decision to write about what goes on inside MOVE's walls.
Caparella, Kitty. "Cop's Death in '78 Clash was a Spark."Philadelphia Daily Paper. Philly.com. May 6, 2010. Web. Nov. 12, 2010.
I learned about what exactly happened on the day James Ramp was killed. This author was at the "scene of the crime" exactly when it happened. In her article, she started it by describing what happened that day. I trust this source very well because it was published in an online newspaper, and the author was there.
Fulwood, Anthony. Personal Interview. Nov 8, 2010.
I found out some really detailed stories about MOVE, the police and what happened on the day James Ramp was killed, and on the day the police dropped a bomb on Osage St. I trust this source very much.
Platt, Larry. "The Meaning of MOVE." Philadelphia, Philly's Daily Magazine. Metrocorp, Inc. March 26, 2010. Web. Nov. 12, 2010.
This article taught me about MOVE and what people thought about the whole incident that occurred. Seeing as it was published in another online newspaper, I rate this source as trustworthy enough.
Terry, Don. "Philadelphia Held Liable for Firebomb Fatal to 11." The New York Times. The New York Times Company. June 25, 1995. Web. Nov, 12, 2010.
This article talked about the bombing in Osage St, and how the government reacted to such a thing. It was published in a well known source, and I trust it well because of this.
