INT. CHURCH REC ROOM/BASEMENT - AFTERNOON

Ample light filters in through basement window wells. Parts

of the room smell a little musty.

19 YEAR OLD at podium, speaking to PEOPLE seated in chairs.

               All casually dressed.

                                   19 YR. OLD

...and that was my last drink.

Every day since, it's been a

                         struggle, but - I've been sober 9

                         months.

               Crowd CLAPS

                                                               BLUR OUT

               INT. SMALL WINDOWLESS FEATURELESS ROOM

It's bright in here, but there's a dimmer switch near the

door we are facing. There's one desk, with a computer on it.

               Not new, not old.

To the left of the computer: tissues.

To the right of the computer: pornographic DVDs.

                                   MAN (O.S.)

                             (muffled, as he's not in

                              the room)

                         I can't bring it - I can't bring

                         some from home, or something?

                                   NURSE (O.S.)

No, the timing has to be perfect

                         for the best chance at

                         fertilization. Plus, your home

                         wouldn't have the environmental

controls needed to keep them active

                         outside of your body.

                                   MAN (O.S.)

                         O-k.

Man enters the room, holding a cup-shaped plastic container

that has a top (with writing) half twisted onto it. He shuts

               the door.

Man sits down at the computer, reading a note on the screen.

He looks at the dvds, and sighs. Tentatively pushing them out

of their neat pile, he eyes the cover of the first, then the

second, then the third, then the fourth.

He puts them back in their little pile, and places it on the

floor. Reaching into his pocket, he pulls out his wallet.

From that, he takes out a picture of his wife, on their

wedding day. The woman had never been more clothed in her

               life.

He gets up from the chair and walks over to the dimmer.

                                   MAN (CONT'D)

                             (yelling at the door)

You can't hear me or anything?

                                   MAN (CONT'D)

                         There're no cameras or anything

                         weird in here?

Silence. He dims the lights to BLACK

               EXT. WALL STREET - DAY

Still frame showing a BUSKER at a street corner.

                                   NARRATOR (V.O.)

For the Busker or Beggar, a corner

office isn't just a nicety - it is

                         a huge business boost.

Silent footage showing a BUSKER at a normal, non-corner part

               of sidewalk.

                                   NARRATOR

Look here, at the amount of people

walking by him on this street. We

could call this "1 street" worth of

people. But by moving to a corner -

Infographic showing a google map of the street, going from

just 1 street highlighted, to 2 streets (which cross each

               other) highlighted.

                                   NARRATOR (CONT'D)

there are 2 streets worth of people

                         coming by the beggar.

Silent footage of some PEOPLE giving the corner busker money.

                                   NARRATOR (CONT'D)

                         There - now THAT'S a mindful

                         mendicant.

The busker goes up for a big chord and we match on action to

the audio waveform. We actually get to hear the chord, even

               though the footage was silent.

The audio waveform continues silently for a few seconds, and

then we see and hear it do the BEEPS CHARACTERISTIC OF AN

               ELECTROCARDIOGRAPH.

               It gets faster.

               It gets faster.

               It gets dangerously fast.

It starts PLAYING Rimsky-Korsakov's "Flight of the Bumblebee"

Along it zips with flight of the bumblebee, faster and

faster, higher and higher energy, until suddenly

               IT FLATLINES!

               Beat.

               BLACKOUT
