A Bad Day

1          I overslept and missed my train,

               /t/              /t/

2          slipped on the sidewalk in the pouring rain,

                    /t/

3          sprained my ankle, skinned my knees,

                    /d/                      /i/  /d/               /z/

4          broke my glasses, lost my keys,

                                   /iz/                   /z/

5          got stuck in the elevator,

6          it wouldn't go,

7         kicked it twice and stubbed my toe,

              /t/                             /d/

8        bought a pen  that didn't write,

9        took it back and had a fight,

10         went home angry,

11        locked the door,

              /t/

12         crawled into bed,

                 /d/

13         couldn't take any more.
