BIBLE- The story of Easter is found in God’s book, the Bible, so we know it’s true.
CRACKERS- A symbol of the Last Supper with Jesus and His disciples.
SILVER COINS-Judas betrays Jesus for 30 pieces of silver.
A CHICK- Peter denies Jesus 3 times before the cock crows.
CROWN OF THORNS- Soldiers mock Jesus and make fun of Him, placing a crown of thorns on His head before He went to the cross.
NAIL- Soldiers placed nails on Jesus’ hands and feet and nailed Him to the cross.
CROSS- Jesus died on a cross and shed His blood to take the punishment for our sins.
SPONGE w/ VINEGAR- When Jesus was on the cross, He asked for a drink because He was thirsty. The soldiers made fun of Him again and gave Him some vinegar on a sponge to drink, instead of water.
BURIAL CLOTH- When Jesus was dead, they took Him down from the cross and His friends wrapped His body in strips of clean cloth before placing Him in the tomb.
SPICES- Jesus’ friends loved Him so much they took a hundred pounds of sweet spices and anointed His body with them for burial.
STONE- Soldiers rolled a huge stone in front of the door of the tomb, so no one could get in and steal Jesus’ body but God sent His angel to roll away the stone.
EMPTY- Why is the last egg empty? That’ right! Jesus’ tomb is empty because He arose from the dead and is ALIVE!
