  1. Read aloud the poem Rain.
  2. Ask:What are the types of weather? How is the air outside today? What do you wear on weather like this?
  3. Talk about the different types of weather.  How do you feel when is (type of weather)? What else can it be like outdoors?
  4. Have a child volunteer to be a meteorologist and communicate the weather of the day.
  5. Distribute weather chart and record the weather of the week.
