Kickboxing – Original and Challenge - The boxing and kicking cardio combinations in this class give you a great workout for your shoulders, hips and mid-section. Kickbox Original uses more familiar choreography and simple combinations. Kickbox Challenge focuses on more complex combinations. Both classes aim for the same level of intensity. When your sweat hits the floor, you’ll know you’ve arrived!
MMA Fit- Get fit with MMA moves – you’ll punch, kick and pummel dummies to your heart’s content as you build muscle, aerobic capacity and burn fat in this “get your aggression out!” class. Class meets on the Judo mats.
Pilates Mat Work - Pilates is a method of exercise designed to create strong, supple bodies, especially working the core musculature (back and abs). Developed by Joseph Pilates, a boxer and gymnast, the exercises build endurance, flexibility, strength and coordination. Restore your posture, build efficient movement, reduce stress and boost your energy. Take Pilates!
Sculpt U. - Sharpen your movement know-how and build strength as you incorporate a variety of work-out tools including stability balls, body bars, dumbbells and body weight exercises into your workout. Class focus varies among upper body, lower body and core.
Skinny Jeans - Transform your bottom line with skinny jeans. This class builds shape and definition by combining four exercises done back to back with a one minute cardio blast at the end of each four minute segment. We use sliders, bands, dumbbells, balls and body weight exercises to target our muscles in a variety of ways. The cardio portion keeps our heart (a very important muscle!) rate pumping on the hot tamale train as well. Whoo Whoo!!
Yoga - You will feel relaxed and strengthened as you are guided through stretching and yoga poses combined with breath work. The class is taught in a flowing yoga-fit style to warm up, with longer holds as the class progresses. We focus on stretching major muscle groups and developing back health. Classes end with a relaxation/meditation section.
Yoga Support – This yoga class allows you to explore yoga poses, stretching, core work and balance from a more supported position. We will use chairs and the wall to make yoga more accessible. We will not be getting up and down off the floor. We end with a seated meditation/relaxation section.
Zumba – Zumba is a fitness program inspired by Latin dance. It fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and other world music with easy-to-follow moves to create a dynamic workout system. Class cuing is mostly nonverbal and the moves are easy to learn so anyone can jump in. Have fun and burn calories at the same time. Ditch the workout and join the party… with Zumba!
