How to Access PDExpress

Open your web browser and type http://pdx.richland2.org 

Your username and password are the same as your Novell login. Use the pull down arrow under Unit  to select your school.  Richland Two faculty and staff should NEVER create a guest login!

PDExpress does not recognize 4 symbols.  

If your password contains any of these symbols you will need to remove them from your password.

Once you change your password you will need to wait overnight to access PDExpress

Update Personal Information

Click on My Pages, Profile

Click on save once you have updated your profile.

Richland Two Faculty and staff may update the following information.

  1. Phone Number
  2. Preferred Contact Method (must choose School Email)
  3. School Email Address
  4. Personal Email Address

No other information (home address, birth date, etc.) is being updated at this time.

Who to contact

If you are having problems with a course, please contact the appropriate department for assistance.

Maia Williams is the contact person for Academics courses.  

Pam Hanfland or  Chuck Holland  is the contact person for T for 2 / Technology courses.

Register/enroll in a course or workshop

Select In-District Catalog from the tabs across the top and select In-District Catalog on the list.

You can view this by course listings or by calendar (top left tab)

List view

Click the course number to see more class info. Click REGISTER on the page if you want to enroll in the class.

*Hover your mouse over the symbol to see the spaces available.

Green circle with a check = space available

Yellow triangle with an exclamation point = There is a waiting list

Red circle with a dash in it = Class is full with no waiting list available.

Calendar view

Click on the title of the course to REGISTER.

Be sure to follow the registration directions until you receive a confirmation that you are enrolled.

View Course Enrollment Information

  1. Click the MY PAGES tab and then click In-District PD.
  2. There are 3 tabs visible at the top of the page; Enrolled, Completed, and All.
  1. ENROLLED gives details about your current class and/or session enrollment (course/session title, date, time and location).
  2. COMPLETED gives you details about the courses/workshops you have successfully completed.(This is where you print your certificates)
  3. ALL gives details for enrolled, completed, dropped and absent classes.

 

Delete or Unregister from a Course 

From the home screen, click on the RED x on the notebook paper icon by the title. This will delete you from the course/workshop.

Completing A Course Evaluation

  1. Once you have taken a course you MUST complete the required course evaluation before your course hours and/or renewal credits can be recorded. To complete a course evaluation:
  2. Login to PDExpress.
  3. Any pending course evaluations will be noted on your home screen. Click the name of the course to complete the evaluation.
  4. Mark your responses on the evaluation form using the pull down boxes.  
  5. Click Submit Evaluation when you are done.

Printing A Certificate

To print a certificate for a completed course:

  1. Go to My Pages
  2. Click Courses
  3. Select the Completed tab
  4. Find the name of the course and click the certificate icon just below the course name
  5. A new window will open displaying the certificate.  
  6. Click PRINT at the top right corner of this window.  When the Print window opens click PREFERENCES and set the page to print in landscape.

Troubleshooting

Name change

        If your name has legally changed, please contact Maia Williams miwilliams@richland2.org or

to update your account. Your account does not automatically update when you submit paperwork to HR.

Video Tutorials

If you need assistance with the page you are on in PDExpress. There is an option to watch a tutorial video at the top right of every page. Click on the question mark in the blue circle. This will open a tutorial about that particular page of PDExpress.
