MSBOA Festival Information

Dear Parent,

The time for MSBOA Band Festival has arrived. We need a few volunteer parents to drive equipment to the event and help chaperone.  Please contact me if you have a truck or van and could help transport percussion equipment.  Below is all the information about the day. For information about what this festival is consult the Band Handbook.  A copy can be downloaded and/or viewed at www.breckenridgeband.blogspot.com.

• Date: Saturday March 12
• Location: Bay City Western High School
• Dress:  Formal Concert Uniform as outlined in the Band Handbook (see website)

Students should bring:

• Students will need money for lunch
• The students are in charge of bringing their music and instrument

The itinerary:

• Bus Leaves promptly at 6:30am from the HS. Be early.
• Percussion loading will begin at 6:00am
• Middle School Band performs at 8:25am
• High School Band performs at 1:25pm
• Bus Leaves for home at about 3:00pm
• Bus Arrives in Breckenridge at 4:30pm

Students may ride home with their family, but must meet at the school in the morning when we depart. Whatever your plans for getting home from Bay City are, please inform me in writing prior to departure.
