The super fast version of tomato sauce with tuna and salmon.
Pour pasatta into a pot and bring it to the boil. Add spices. It is a fast version therefore I have used dried spices but it’s better to use freshly chopped herbs.
Drain the brine away from the cans. Using a fork, break tuna and salmon into chunks and put in the sauce. On low heat, boil the sauce and season with salt to taste.
When the sauce has been simmering for 10 minutes bring a large pot of well-salted water to the boil and cook your pasta according to the packet instructions. When you're ready to serve it, tear the basil leaves and add to the sauce. Optionally add stripes of a fat free cheese.
