balsamic vinaigrette

makes: about 10 ounces


2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon dijon or whole grain mustard

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground pepper

1 garlic clove, finely minced

1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil


In a medium bowl, combine honey, mustard, salt, pepper and garlic. Add balsamic vinegar and whisk. Gradually add oil, whisking to incorporate. Stir until fully emulsified. Store in a jar with lid. Keeps indefinitely in refrigerator.
