Presidium – The Blackboard Help Desk

The Presidium Help Desk can help students with numerous Blackboard issues.  Presidium uses a student’s email address to verify who the student is, so it is essential that you enter students’ email addresses into the registration system when you are registering them for courses.

One of the most important features that Presidium can help with is student access to NCVPS courses.  

SPECIAL NOTE ON ACCESS:  Students will first have access to their courses about 5 days before classes begin during our  Meet the Teacher time period.  Please remember that during the Meet the Teacher time and trough the last day for late adds, it will take at least one full business day before students get access to their courses.  Even if it immediately shows that the student is “enrolled” in the registration period, it may still take up to 24 hours before the student has access to the course in Blackboard.

Presidium has 3 important help features.

1) TELEPHONE SUPPORT

Call 1 -866-223-1028 24/7 for help.

If calling is not convenient, though, choose either of the next two options.  

2) EMAIL SUPPORT

If a student cannot remember his or her password, have the student use the “Forgot password” feature on the login page.  Presidiium will send directions on how to reset the password to the student’s email address that is in the registraiton system.  (Therefore, it is essential that you have the correct student email in the system.)

3) SUBMIT A TICKET

If the student has other issues in Blackboard, like a test will not submit or an assignment will not work, then the student can submit a ticket to Presidium.
