Mann welcomed everyone to the 15th anniversary meeting including Judy, FMCA acting President, and Steve Czarsty who are charter members of Dogwood. Also present was the EAMA area VP, Jerry Cohen and his wife, Millie. Hand-written minutes from the first meeting of Dogwood were passed around. A quorum was present so a business meeting could be held.
Mann thanked the hosts of this rally, Fred and Maxine Luxton and he and Carolyn.

Treasurer’s Report: Carol Warthan had resigned as Treasurer and accepted the position of VP Membership vacated by Bill Ferebee’s resignation. Carolyn Duff had accepted the position of Treasurer. See attached Treasurer’s report. Mann asked the Audit Committee comprised Mo Martin, Cil Schoolar, and Liz Jones to conduct an audit of chapter financial records.
Communications: Carolyn Duff requested input for the newsletter articles and photos.
Membership VP: Mann reported that we now have 47 members. Nolte’s are not renewing their membership and Ferebee’s have sold their motorhome. Retention from the free FMCA memberships has not been good.
VP Rallies: Fairleigh Schoolar reported that the date for the September rally has not yet been determined but will be determined by July 10th. Richard Bonewitz has set up the itinerary for the caravan to and week following the Madison FMCA Rally. Information regarding the venue for the December Rally was discussed. We currently have reservations at Holiday TraveLPark in VA Beach and Out Door World in Williamsburg. A vote was taken and it was decided that the December Rally would be held at Out Door World the first weekend of December 2011. Hosts are needed for that rally.
National Director: Ed Fisher was not present, however, he will be in Madison to represent Dogwood Chapter.
Eastern Area VP Jerry Cohen spoke about GEAR in Winston Salem, NC, October 19-23. He asked that we make reservations. They are expecting a good turnout again this year. Max Hicks asked for volunteers to drive trams and Berkley Alexander asked for seminar monitor volunteers.
Mann said to be on time for happy hour. Jerry Cohen will be presenting a 15 year certificate. There will be a group photo to recognize the occasion.

Respectfully submitted,
Karen Alexander, Secretary
