Opening doors to a market that consumes more than 320,000 metric tons of pineapples per year. In this sense the project is designed to establish a plantation of 52 hectares of pineapple, for the first year and consequently the expansion of production area by 52 hectares per year, reaching 300 ha after 5 years. In addition, it is necessary to install a packing plant with a packing line of at least 22,000 units a day and the processing line that will absorb 15% of the field's production, which is not suitable for export.

The specie to be planted (Swietenia Macrophylla) has a high economic value as well as a good adaptability to the climate conditions of the eastern zone of the country, achieving a minimum rotation age of 25 years and an annual growth of 6 to 8 m cubic meters per hectare.

It will involve land owners in the business of "future forest plantations", which means that the landowner is responsible for the planting trees and the maintenance of the plantation. The investor provides the initial funding for the plantation and annual payments to the landowner. At the end of the rotation period the investor uses the resource as appropriate.
