Race sanctioned by USA Cycling and MBRA        Held under USA Cycling Event Permit          USCF Official:

Directions:  Located on the west side of Missoula.  From the Reserve St. exit drive roughly 3.8 miles to Spurgin.  Turn right on Spurgin.  Go 2 miles and take a left on Tower.  The course is on your left, parking is up the road on the left.

Race Schedule*:

           Registration/check-in/Pre-ride        10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Registration/Check- In for each race closes 30 minutes before the start time EXCEPT for MEN ½, THAT CLOSES AT 6pm

Pre-race meeting        5 minutes prior to each race

Race 1        Junior Boys & Girls (11+)        12:30 a.m. start; 20 minutes

Race 2        Cat 4 Women          1:10 p.m. start; 30 minutes

Race 3        Kids Race (10 and under)          2:00 p.m. start; half a lap

      Race 4     Men 4 & Men 5          2:30 p.m. start; 50 minutes

Race 5        Master A/B (40+)          3:50 p.m. start; 50 minutes

Race 6        Men 3          5:10 p.m. start; 55 minutes

Race 7        Women 1/2/3          6:35 p.m. start; 55 minutes

Race 8        Men 1/2          8:00 p.m. start; 60 minutes

*promoter reserves the right to adjust race groupings as conditions, attendance and volunteer support warrant

Rules:  All USA Cycling rules apply. Racers must wear helmets while racing and warming up/down.

Prizes:  Merchandise for all categories, not exceeding $1999.  Thank you to our generous sponsors!

Fees:  $25 race entry for pre-registered adults, $30 day of registration – Online registration @ usacycling.org Sorry, no mail-in registration.  Entry fee includes USA Cycling insurance/MBRA surcharges. $15 for juniors Racers.  Online registration closes Friday October 18th at 8pm MST.  Kid’s race is free and day of registration only.  

ROLLING THUNDER CALL UP PROCEDURE:  There are 8 spots on each row.  We will call up the first row for each race, and the first 3 rows for the men’s elite.  The race promoter reserves the right to place 1 rider in each row.
