TinkerSoc General Meeting
26th December 2012
Introduction
Dan introduced the meeting.
Explained how the voting system works.
Quorum was met with 15 paid members present.
Disciplinary Actions
- It has been put forward that we should not discipline the executive committee (as it was at the beginning of term) for breaking the election rules set out in the constitution as action was required to maintain the operation of the society. This constituted the reshuffling of the committee after removal of the existing president due to lack of involvement and the stepping up of Mex to cover Will who is currently unavailable to perform his secretarial duties.
The society chose to not impose disciplinary action by a majority vote.
- We are happy with the voting committee as is.
- Dan: President.
- Matt: Treasurer.
- Martin: Secretary.
The Society voted yes by majority vote.
