- Describe the political mindset of the era. Was it more liberal or conservative? What makes you think so?
- Who were the Presidents of the era? Describe their philosophies on government and visions for America.
- What were the major domestic policies pursued or government agencies created during this era (list and outline at least 3)? How did they intend to solve the problems of the era?
- What were the short and long-term effects of these domestic policies (both positive and negative)? Support with specific evidence from resources.
- Overall, did this era see an expansion or a reduction in government's role in American life?
- In what ways (if any) was this era a response to the era that preceded it?
- Compare this era to others you've studied during this course. Which does it most closely resemble? Why?
Individual Analysis of the Eras: After all of the wiki pages are finished, you will have time to view/read through the pages for each era. You will need to complete a graphic organizer as you peruse the pages. This will be crucial in preparing for your culminating essay on the evolving role of government in America.
Also keep in mind that wiki pages should be well organized in their layout, creative, and they should contain no spelling or grammatical errors.
