Archives Finding Guide
Drake Memorial Library
The College at Brockport

This guide is a general list by subject and title of the holdings of the college archives. Archives are organized by record groups, i.e. records are filed by the office that produced them. Thus RG 1 is the record group for the president's office and contains records produced by that office such as mission statements, meeting minutes, etc.

The records give the title of the document or office and some description of content and location. For example "RG 1 st/fc" would mean that the items are in record group 1, in both the file cabinets (fc) and the stacks (st).

**Due to time restrictions on the archivist, only brief responses can be provided for inquires. The archives does have biographical information on faculty/staff and local community/civic leaders. For inquires concerning specific individuals, please be sure to include dates, either birth/death dates or the dates when you believe the person worked for the college. For more in-depth research of an individual, please contact me to set up an appointment.
