“It’s a bona-fide piece of printed matter.  It fooled me.  This guy’s a regular Belasco.” (p.45)

In chapter three, Nick meets a man in a bar who knows Gatsby.  The man calls Gatsby “a regular Belasco.”  Read the biography from David Belasco and compare the lives of the two men.

• Why would this man call Gatsby “a regular Belasco?”
• What does that mean about Gatsby?
