The Louisville Ballet School is a premiere center for training and educating dancers of all ages. The School’s curriculum fosters enjoyment of the arts, supports both the serious student who aspires to achieve professional goals and students who elect to dance for enjoyment, recreation, and exercise.  Every faculty member serves as a mentor helping dancers further develop their skills and appreciation of dance.

Primary and Elementary Division instructors help students develop coordination, musicality, and kinetic awareness, and provide a positive educational atmosphere to instill a love for dance and the arts.  Classes may include Creative Movement, Pre-Ballet and Beginning Ballet (ages 3-8) and Elementary I - IV / Youth Open Division classes (ages 8-16, various dance styles).  Fall and Spring classes are held in the late afternoons, early evenings, and on Saturdays at our St. Matthews Studios.  Summer classes are held Monday through Friday at various times during the day.
