Initial Reactions

Glenn

  • Enjoyed the movies very much
  • Movie’s tone was much different

X

  • This director has about as much business directing this movie as I did.
  • Writer wrote Spider-Man 2 (best) & Spider-Man 3??? Did he read his scripts before this???

Standout Moments or Characters

Glenns’s Standouts:

  • Web Shooter return

X’s Standouts:

  • I enjoyed watching my 6-year old be happy with the movie more than I enjoyed the movie
  • Changes in the origin story
  • Better Spider-Man than Toby Maguire

Geek Nirvana

  • Sandman and Venom was a bad combination. Where are the good villians?
  • Gwen Stacy vs. Mary Jane
  • This time I actually felt like the character enjoyed being Spider-Man

Easter Eggs

  • Dude with the hat??? Norman Osborn? Adrian Toome? Michal Morbius? Otto Octavius?

Final Thoughts

Glenn:

X: Enjoyable but you aren’t missing anything by not seeing it in the theater.
