Germany

The average German 12 year old child would wake up sometime between 6:00-7:00. His or her breakfast would most likely consist of tea or milk, a pastry called brotchen, along with butter or jam, and soft boiled eggs. There would be no uniform for school, and he or she would have just a decency dress code. He or she would then go to school. Classes typically start at 8:00, and periods last for 45 minutes. Depending on what type of school(Gymnasium, Hauptschule, Realschule) his or her classes would last for two periods. At the age of 12, the child would start taking their secondary language class this year. The school day would end at 12:00, where the child would have the rest of the day to itself. Actual extra curricular activates ran publicly are few and far in between, so the child would have to be in a sort of private club. Otherwise, the child would go and hang out with friends or go home. Once home, the child would have lunch, the largest meal of the day, study and do homework, which he or she would be assigned a lot of. Dinner is usually a small and light meal.
