Homework for Term 2, Week 8
Maths
Visit this website, enter your name, then go to the First to 100 activity. You goal is to beat the computer by being the one who gets to 100 (you will see what I mean when you play the game).
Reading
Read for 20 minutes each day, from Monday to Thursday (you can read for more, and read in the weekends too!)
Writing
Read the class blog post, then go to your own website and do a post on the blog page. You need to write about all of the subjects that appear on our class blog, plus anything else that you would like to add.
Remember, this is a post on your own website blog, not a comment on the class blog.
French
This week you are to continue with French revision as we didn’t have a French session last week due to speeches taking place and Mr Nelson being away on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Te Reo Maori
Visit the class blog and go to our ‘Let’s Learn Te Reo Maori’ blog. Check out the new weekly post that is put up and leave a comment. You can also go through the previous posts to revise on older lessons. ( If you don’t have a computer at home, you can use on of the class computers before school).
This week the post is on looking at counting in tens from 10 to 100.
Spelling
Learn your weekly list of words. Spend time each night going over them so that you are ready to be tested on Friday.
Health and PE
Go outside and play whenever you get the opportunity. This could include kicking your rugby ball, climbing trees, skateboarding, and shooting hoops on the netball court. In fact, any physical activity to get your heart pumping and the blood flowing. Just do it!
ICT
Go to your website and spend this week carefully editing it. It is important that your websites are as free from errors as possible, as they are published for the whole world to see!
