WAKA DODGEBALL ADDITIONAL POLICIES
There is no maximum to players allowed on your roster. Players will not be
allowed to participate without signing the WAKA Dodgeball roster/waiver form.
In order to participate in the league, each player must sign the team waiver.
All WAKA Dodgeball must be at least 21 years old before the season starts.
WAKA Dodgeball will have the right to request ID from any player. SPORTSMANSHIP:
We are all adults, and WAKA Dodgeball expects all participants to act like it.
Unsportsmanlike behavior may result in that player being ejected from the game
and match by the court official. An ejection may result in further suspension from
participation in the current league and possible banning from other WAKA
leagues. An ejected player(s) is required to leave the premises immediately –
refusal to leave the premises may result in a team forfeit and / or increased
length of suspension.
WAKA Dodgeball Shirts are your team’s uniforms. All players must wear a WAKA
Dodgeball shirt with your team’s current color to participate.
Names on uniforms, numbers, cut-off sleeves, corporate logos, etc, are
permitted, as long as they do not cover any logos originally printed on the shirts.
If a team does not have the minimum number of players by game time, the team
will be allowed a 5 minute grace period. If the minimum number of players does
not show up 5 minutes after game time, a forfeit will be called.
If a team does not have the minimum number of players by game time, a $20
forfeit fine will be assessed unless the team has enough players to play an
officiated exhibition match. If a team e-mails WAKA Dodgeball by 4pm of the
preceding day, no fine will be assessed. This will allow the opposing coach to
inform his/her team of the impending forfeit. All fines must be paid before your
next scheduled game. Teams not paying the above fines the following week may
play that game, however it is officially ruled a forfeit. After the 2nd week the team
can be removed from the league.
