I.        President’s Report (Sam)

• Thank you for Turf Club/Club Day Volunteers

• Successful Turf Club
• A lot of club sign-ups

•  Thank you Puneet for the Back to School Party
• DSBA Summit this Saturday

• 12-3 in the Student Lounge
• Will discuss events this year and master calendar

• DSBA will be reimbursing clubs directly through the DSBA account

• These changes will be announced at the IOC meeting

• We may have the Sports Chair handle this
• The foosball table that we ordered last year was returned and the money was reimbursed because the table broke

II.        Vice President’s Report (Nicole)

• Food sign-ups for board meetings

• Everyone on SBA is required to bring food
• Go on google doc soon to sign up
• Budget for food is $100 per meeting
• We have to feed approximately 20 people per meeting

• Next item on each board member’s list of responsibilities

• 3L Reps

• Finger printing
• Facebook group – invite all of the 3Ls

• Community Service Rep

• We need to figure out PILF Auction gift

III.        3L Rep’s Report (Liz)

• Fingerprinting

• Maelesa set up fingerprinting for 3Ls

• First date: Tuesday, August 31, 10:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. in Founder’s Hall lobby
• Cost: $21, plus $8 if you want an address search

IV.        Speaker Chair’s Report (Ashley)

• Creation of Speaker Committee

• Looking for people to make announcements, get feedback

• First event is on Wednesday, September 1

• Health care experts coming in to talk about the Obama healthcare
• Also will discuss health care options for students
• Ashley is still figuring out food (hopefully something healthy)
• Co-sponsored with Health Law and Bioethics Student Association
• Ashley is going to email the student body about the event tomorrow and Tuesday

• Nicole: every flier has to have a Loyola disclaimer on it
